Three amateur repeaters linked together covering metro New Orleans and Jefferson Parish. 70cm 444.975 and 444.150, on tone access control CTCSS (PL 118.6) The last two machines are currently up and running with reliable coverage. Our equipment consist of: 2 Apache servers, a Rasberry Pie Linux, 4 ACC 250 controllers, 2 70cm Kenwood repeaters and 2 Icom, on 220 MHz and 1.2 GHz. A large array of linking interfaces with solar backup power. These machines have been in operation for over 30 years. They are free to use by the amateur radio comunity. (luckily suvived Hurricane Katrina). The Repeaters are also connected to the Echolink system for contacting people all over the world. We use an AR5000 receiver, a UHF DB440 and a 3 element beam antenna to listen to 10 meter FM. Our tower is 185 feet high. Parishes or counties: Orleans, Jefferson, St.Bernard, Plaquemines.
