Feed Notes

The primary focus of this feed is Waller County. There is other Talk groups being picked up on the system as well, but are broadcast only while there is nothing else playing with priority for this stream.

This system will take priority as follows:
1) Waller County SO
2) Hempstead PD
3) All Other Waller County TGID
4) Other TGID on the system

This system was created using an EOL MacMini, Installed with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, SDRTrunk, 2xRTL-SDR, and a Homemade Yagi.

There is a Feed Link active that will take you to the Discord Server for this feed in the event you have any feed back, questions or comments. Even if no one is there at the time you arrive, feel free to leave the mail in the chat and it will be received when I get back on there. Remember to check back in if you were expecting a signature on delivery, or a postcard in return.

This Radio Feed is runs a battery backup, which keeps good clean power headed into the electronics. However, the battery backup only last so long, and is impossible to add batteries to it to extend its life. As such, we have added a external power source for the radio feed as well. This external feed can provide endless hours of power to the feed in the event of power loss.

The Battery backup will provide power to the Cisco ASA, Switches, and Radio feed in the event of any quick outages, over power, under power, or power flickers for up to 30 minutes. The Solar/Battery setup will provide up to 24+ hours of electric in the event the power is out for an extended period.
