This is the National Weather Service All Hazards NOAA Weather Radio WXL87 in Yuma, Arizona, broadcasting on a frequency of 162.550 MHz. Programming for this station originates from the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Phoenix, Arizona. The transmitter is located on black Mountain in California, in the southeastern part of California, with a power output of 100 watts. This transmitter serves Imperial County, Yuma, La Paz, and parts of Riverside County. The travelers forecast is usually broadcast within a few minutes after the top of each hour, 15, 30, and 45 minutes past the top of each hour (Currently not available).
