For Higgins Area Fire Protection District residents to follow the emergency operations of the district. The primary dispatch channel is 153.965 MHz (primarily for wildland fires) covering all Cal Fire Nevada-Placer-Yuba unit counties and the secondary channel is 151.325 MHz covering western Nevada County Fire districts (primarily for medical, public assist, and structure fires).
